How to transfer your domain name from Names.co.uk

Click "Click here to change the Nominet TAG".

Enter the IPS tag "123-REG"
You will then be informed by Namesco it costs £10 plus VAT to leave (just so you know, 123-reg does not get anything from this fee charged by Names.co.uk) and click "Update".

Fill in the payment details requested and Namesco will then process your change.

Next you will need to order the domain transfer in your 123-reg control panel.

Log into the NamesCo control panel (http://admin.names.co.uk/). If you have misplaced your username and password, click on the "Forgotten Your Password?" link and ask the system to resend them.

After logging in, click on "Domain Names".

Select the domain name that you want to transfer.

Click on "DNS & Transfer Option".

Click on "Transfer Domain".

Follow the onscreen instructions to transfer your domain name from NamesCo hosting to 123-reg.

Contact NamesCo support and ask them for your domain's Auth code, make a note of this code.

Initialise the transfer.
Next you will need to order the domain transfer in your 123-reg control panel.

The appropriate registry for your domain extension will then email you with further instructions on transferring your domain to 123-reg, so please ensure you check your mail regularly.
