Legacy Supanames - How do I set up Multiple Recipient Addresses?

This article applies to Legacy Supanames Value Host Pro hosting packages and above.

What are Multiple Recipient Addresses?

Multiple Recipient Addresses allow you to forward mail addressed to a email address to several other POP3 mailboxes. This is especially useful if you are a business user who requires specifically addressed email to be copy sent to several of your staff so they all receive the same email. At this time, mail can only be sent this way to other SupaNames POP3 mailboxes, and not to external mailboxes.

How to set up MRAs

1

Access your Email Settings section of MyPanel and go to Multiple Recipient Addresses.

2

Click Add an MRA to this account.

3

Create the email address you wish to create as an MRA i.e. me@mydomain.co.uk and choose the Primary recipient.

Please note: The Primary recipient will be the first POP3 mailbox to receive a copy of mail sent to me@mydomain.co.uk.

4

Use the drop down box to add a POP3 box. Click Create this MRA. Any mail sent to me@mydomain.co.uk will now also go to the POP3 box you specify.

You should now receive a message as follows:

The MRA has been created.
You can add more recipients to this MRA by selecting it from the main email menu.

By going back to the main E-mail Settings screen and clicking on me@mydomain.co.uk you can repeat the above and add further POP3 mailboxes who will also receive exactly the same E-mails addressed to me@mydomain.co.uk.
