How do I cancel or change my 123-reg services?

This article explains how to change or cancel your 123-reg services.

If you have decided that you do not need one or all of your 123-reg services, you must cancel your services, or set it to expire at the end of your current billing period. Failing to do so may result in an unwanted renewal which you will be charged for.

The cancellation process varies depending on the product type you wish to cancel. Services can be cancelled:

  • Through your control panel
  • By contacting our Customer Relationship team
  • By raising a ticket to one of our support agents

The cancellation method is affected by the type of service. For a full break down of our services and their cancellation processes, please see below.

You can also contact our Customer Relationship team if you wish to enquire about an upgrade or a downgrade to one of your existing services on 0345 5048540. Lines are open Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:30.

If you are unable to call you can raise a support ticket to ask a member of our Customer Relations team to contact you back to process your request. Please include a contact telephone number and any times you would be available.

Please note: Cooling Off Period

Please note that Consumers are eligible for a 14 day cooling off period for non-bespoke products. Bespoke products are anything that has been customised to the customer so cannot be sold.

An example of such products that this applies to at 123-reg is Domain names. Due to their nature, this means that they are non refundable.

Please note that the Cooling Off period only applies to Consumers, not Business Customers. If you are unsure whether you are a Business Customer or a Consumer, you can view the definitions of these terms in the Definitions section of our General Terms of Service
