How do I restore my MySQL database?

This article applies to 123-reg Shared Hosting accounts.

This answer explains how in the event of a problem you can restore your database from a backup.

Important: It is your responsibility to keep an up to date back up of your databases as your 123-reg hosting package does not come with a backup service. This is to ensure that you have usable and up to date back up copies of your data in the unlikely event of corruption or loss of your data from the server.
