Why can I not backorder a domain?

This article will explain why you cannot set up a backorder on certain domain names. 

Is it eligible?

The most common reason for not being able to purchase a backorder on a domain name is that it is not eligible for a backorder. Only certain types of domain extensions are eligible for this service, and are listed below in their respective price brackets.

.co.uk, .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .mobi, .tel, .de, .org.uk, .me.uk, .gb.com, .ae.org, .cn.com, .de.com, .kr.com, .sa.com, .za.com

Any domain names other than the ones listed above will not be eligible for a backorder.


Is it available for backorder?

Even if a certain extensions is eligible for backorder, but you are still unable to access this service, it means that someone else has already placed a backorder for the domain name. We only offer this service once per domain name.
