What is the Landrush Pre-order phase?

This article applies to .XXX Domain registration

The Landrush Pre-order phase is the first phase where anyone can register a .xxx domain without needing a pre-existing trademark or domain name.

The Landrush phase applies to you if you would like to register a highly sought-after, popular or generic domain name.

If more than one Landrush application is received for the same domain then the domain goes to auction and the applicants will have the chance to bid for the domain.

Landrush orders placed before and during the Landrush period get priority over general availability pre-orders.

The Landrush period starts on 8th November 2011 and ends on 25th November 2011.

The Landrush period has now ended.

Landrush members of the Sponsored Community are required to authenticate with the registry before they are awarded the domain or proceed to auction.

If you fail to do this within 48 hours of the closing of Landrush, you will lose your application and no refund will be provided. Further instructions will be provided to all applicants in advance if authentication is required.

Please Note: No refund can be given in the event that a Landrush application is unsuccessful.
