This article will show you how to view and manage a website’s logs in Plesk

Please note: this article was originally created for our previous generation of Virtual Private Servers running Plesk 10. As such, these instructions may not be relevant to our current generation of Virtual Private Servers.

Step 1 of 5

From your Plesk Panel, select Websites & Domains in the toolbar.

Select Websites & Domains

Step 2 of 5

Scroll down the page and select Logs within the Advanced Operations section.

Select Logs

Step 3 of 5

On the next page, click View for the website you want to access the logs for.

Click View

Step 4 of 5

You will now see a list of log files for your website. Depending on your site, these files can be very large.

If you only want to view the last few lines of a file, enter a number into the provided Lines of log file to be displayed field. From there, select your log file from the list below.

Alternatively, you can download your log file by selecting the Download icon to the right.

Select Log file

Step 5 of 5

You will now be shown the data from your chosen log file.

If you entered a value into the provided field earlier, you will only be shown the last lines relative to the value you entered. For example, if you entered the value ‘10’, you will only be shown the last 10 lines of your file.
