This answer will explain how to retrieve a lost username and/or password.

Here at 123-reg we have a forgotten login system to help with this problem. You can use one of three methods available to reset your details:

Please send my login to the registered email address on my 123-reg account

If you require your login details for your 123-reg control panel, Please fill in one of the following details to receive the details to your current email address:

• The email address you signed up with
• Your username (which will be on the welcome mail we sent you when you signed up)
• A domain name that is active in your account

We will then send you an email containing your login details.

Please send my login to an alternative email address

If you no longer have access to the email address you have registered on your account, you can now use an alternative email address by using the alternative email address tool on the forgotten login page.

You can now send your login details to an alternative email address using some of the following details:

• Your 123-reg username
• A domain name held in your 123-reg account

You will then need to enter the First and Last name on your 123-reg account.

• First name
• Last name

You will then need to enter one of the following details:

• The last 4 digits of a payment card stored on your 123-reg account
• An invoice number from a 123-reg purchase (a 123-reg invoice number will be a 12 digit number beginning with 123-00)

You will then need to enter two of the following details:

• The registered email address on your 123-reg account
• The registered telephone number on your 123-reg account
• The registered postal code on your 123-reg account
• The first line of the registered postal address on your 123-reg account






You will now be able to sign in using the details sent to your email address.

Send in a fax

It is possible that you can not pass any of these security steps, in these circumstances you will need to provide us with proof of identity as the owner of that account by providing proof that you reside at the registered address.

This should be in the form of a utility bill or official document, and accompanied by the fax template below:

The Fax needs to have the following clearly visible:

• Your Name
• Number of pages within Fax
• Domain Names
• 123-reg Username
• Telephone Number
• New email address
• Owners Signature
• The address on the official Document should be clearly visible

Provided you pass the security check in accordance with the Data Protection Act, we will change the registered email address on your 123-reg account to the email address that you have access to and resend you your account login details.
