Your bandwidth/data transfer allowance refers to the amount of traffic received by your website each month. Whenever you upload files to add to your website and whenever somebody views your website, information travels through our network to enable the changes to your site to be visible or to allow visitors to see your site as you intended. The more visitors you have, the more information travels through our network and therefore the more bandwidth is used.

So that we can make sure that no one website uses so much bandwidth that other customers suffer and find their own sites becoming slow to load, your shared hosting account comes with a monthly data transfer quota.

But don’t worry! Because we’re part of GX Networks we have access to a huge and powerful carrier-class network, so we can offer you a generous monthly bandwidth allowance, and we have more than enough to ensure that even if all our customers used their full quota there’s enough to go around.
