How do I set up a TXT record on my domain name?

The below video and step by step instructions will show you how to create a TXT record for your 123-reg domain name.





Before you begin, you will need to make sure that your nameservers are pointing to 123-reg.

Creating a TXT record

Log in to your 123-reg control panel

log in to 123-reg account

Have a look in the Domain names section section.


scroll down to the web hosting section

Select your domain name using the drop-down menu and then click on the Manage button.

In the Advanced domain settings menu, click Manage DNS.

Now click on the Advanced DNS tab.

Using the drop-down menu, click TXT/SPF .

click on the TXT/SPF

In the Hostname field, enter the Hostname you have been provided with. If you are verifying your domain name with Google Apps, you will just need to enter an @ symbol.

In the Destination TXT field enter in the TXT record that you have been provided with.
