How do I change the folder structure?

This article will explain how to change the folder structure in 123-mail webmail

This changes the way your folders are displayed within the 123-webmail client. Changing this is purely down to personal preference, and finding the best work flow to suit your needs.

To change the folder structure, follow these instructions:

Login to the 123-mail webmail.

Click on the Configuration icon in the main toolbar.

Click on the Options folder in the left hand pane.

Click on the Folder tree drop down box.

Click on either New or Classic to change the folder structure.

Click on the Save icon to store the changes.

Please note: You will have to log out and log back in again for the changes to take effect.

How do I change the way the panel is shown?

This article will explain how to change the panel layout in 123-mail webmail.

The panel holds functions such as New, Edit and Delete.

Click on either Tab-based panel or Compact panel.

How do I change the Hover pane settings?

This article will explain how to change the Hover pane settings in 123-mail webmail.

The Hover pane is the floating window of information that shows details of contacts, appointments, tasks and emails.

Click on the Options folder in the left hand pane.

Click on the relevant options you wish to change turning various Hover panes on or off. You can also choose to Enable or Disable all of the Hover pane settings.

How do I set how many elements are shown on the homepage?

This article will explain how to set how many elements are shown on the homepage in 123-mail webmail.

This dictates the amount of information you see when you first open 123-reg Webmail. For example, you can use this to set the number of items you see in each pod on the start page. You may wish to see your last 20 emails, but only your next 5 appointments or tasks.

Click on the Start Page folder in the left hand pane.

Then click the sub folder Layout.

Change the amount of elements you wish to show on the start page.

Click on the Save icon under the Layout tab.

How to change your display name?

This article will explain how to change your display name in 123-mail webmail. As standard, your display name is set as your email address, however, you can edit this to read your name, a nickname, or almost anything else you can think of.

Click on the Configuration icon in the main toolbar.

Click on the User folder in the left hand pane, and then click on the subfolder Personal Data

Click on the Display name text box and edit your display name.

Click the Save icon to store the changes made.

You will now see your new display name:

How do I view my email in a full screen window?

This article will explain how to view your email in a full screen email rather than as an embedded window. This will apply to actions such as reading email messages, and composing new ones.

Log on to your 123-reg Webmail account.

Click the Configuration tool from the toolbar located at the top of the page.

Select the Options menu from the menu tree, located down the left hand side of the page.

From the View section, locate the Windows are shown as option, and select the Popups option.

Finish off by clicking the Save button.

You will now be able to open your windows in as a pop up. For example, click on the New Email button to open the email composer, or double click on an item in your inbox to open it in its own window. This done, you can adjust the size of the window to your tastes, or use your browser's maximize function to make the window full screens.

How do I view my Sent items using 123-mail?

This article will demonstrate where your sent items are stored using 123-mail. This allows you to save a copy of any email you send from your 123-reg Webmail, to allow you to view them at a later date. If you no longer wish to keep a copy of your sent emails, you can simply delete them from your Sent folder.

Login to your 123-reg Control Panel. Scroll down to the Email section and click on the Webmail icon.

Enter your email address and relevant password, then click the Login button.

Click on the Email icon from the top toolbar.

Click on the Sent Objects folder. Your sent messages will now be displayed.

Please note: Some users will find that two sent folders will display as in the image above. For more information on this, and instructions on unifying these folders, please click here.

How do I view the message source?

This article will explain how you can view the email message source.

The message source is the code of the email itself. You will be able to use this if you ever need to find the Headers of your email, for example. For most people, you will not require this setting, however it is always useful to know how to access your email source.

In the right pane, Click on the relevant email you would like to view the source of.

Click on the Show source icon.
