How do I create a database user in Plesk?

This article will explain how you can create a database user using Plesk.

Since this process varies depending on which version of Plesk you have, please select your version from the list below and follow the provided instructions to get started.

Please note: this article was originally created for our previous generation of Virtual Private Servers. As such, these instructions may not be relevant to our current generation of Virtual Private Servers.

Log in to your Parallels Plesk Panel.

Click on the Subscriptions button.

Click on the Open in Control Panel button.

Click on the Website & Domains tab.

Click on the Databases icon.

Click on the relevant database name.

Click on the Add New Database User icon.

Fill in the username and password, then click on the OK button to save.

Your database user will now be created.
