This answer explains how in the event of a problem you can restore your database from a backup.
Important: It is your responsibility to keep an up to date back up of your databases as your 123-reg hosting package does not come with a backup service. This is to ensure that you have usable and up to date back up copies of your data in the unlikely event of corruption or loss of your data from the server.
Restoring your data from a backup
To restore backups of your MySQL database, please do the following:

Scroll down to the Web hosting section.

Select the relevant domain name from the drop down box and click on the Manage button.

Click on the Manage database option.

Click on the box shape icon under the Login column for the relevant database.

Enter your database username and password in the relevant boxes.

Click on the database name in the left hand frame.

Click on the Import tab.

Scroll down in the right hand frame until you see File to import.

Click the Browse button and select the file from your computer.
