To transfer a .uk domain name away from 123-reg, the only settings to change are the nameservers and the IPS Tag. To do so please follow these instructions:

In the Domain names section, select the relevant domain name in the drop-down list and click on the Manage button.

Select the option you require:
- Change Nameservers - enter your new hosts' nameservers
- Change IPS Tag - enter your new agent's IPS Tag
It normally takes approximately 12/24 hours for this to update. However some providers have a "handshake" system where they will need to approve the transfer in and therefore the IPS tag may not update automatically. Please check with your new provider if they have this process in place so that they can approve the transfer once you have changed the TAG.
