How do I add 301 (Permanent) Web forwarding?

This article will explain how you can add a 301 (Permanent) Web forwarding to your domain name.

Please Note: You will need to allow up to 24 hours for the DNS changes to take effect.

Firstly, you need to ensure your domain is pointed to our nameservers:

  • ns.123-reg.co.uk
  • ns2.123-reg.co.uk

If the domain is not pointed to the 123-reg nameservers, you will be unable to manage them from the 123-reg control panel.

Login to your 123-reg control panel.

Scroll down to the Domain names section and click on the Web forwarding icon.

Click on the Add button next to the relevant domain name./p>

On the Permanent forwarding tab, enter a domain name to forward to.

Click on the Confirm button.
