Add a dropdown menu to my website's navigation

Adding a dropdown menu in your website's navigation bar is a great way to group pages or links and help visitors discover them. It also helps keep your navigation bar compact.

  1. Go to your 123 Reg product page.
  2. Scroll down, expand Website Builder and select Manage next to your site.
  3. Select Edit Website to open your website builder.
  4. In the right panel, select Add Page, similar to how you'd add a new page, and then select New Dropdown.
  5. Fill in a menu title (required field). Use a short, clear name to avoid cluttering your navigation bar.
  6. To link your dropdown menu to pages on your website:
    1. Under Select dropdown pages, select which pages to add. (You can change the order of the pages in your dropdown menu by reordering them in the site navigation section of your website builder.)
    2. Select Create Menu.
To link your dropdown menu to external webpages:
    1. Don't add any pages to your new dropdown menu. Instead, simply select Create Menu.
    2. You'll be taken back to the site navigation section in your website builder. Next to your new dropdown menu, select Settings cog icon Settings.
    3. Select Add Link.
    4. Fill in a title and add a URL (web site address).
    5. Select Create Link.
    6. Repeat these steps to add more links.
  7. Your changes are saved automatically. Use Preview to see the results, and when you're ready to make the changes public, publish your site.
