Boot my VPS Hosting in Rescue Mode
If there's a problem with your VPS Hosting that prevents access (such as a service that doesn't work as expected), you can boot the server in rescue mode. You'll be given temporary credentials you can use to log into the server via SSH to continue troubleshooting.
- Go to your 123 Reg product page.
- Scroll down, expand Servers and then select Manage next to the VPS Hosting you want to use.
- Select Server Actions, and then select Rescue Mode.
- Read the message and then select Confirm.
- Once you're in Rescue Mode, use the Login Credentials to sign in with SSH and access your server files.
- When you're finished, in the top-right of your 123 Reg account, select Exit Rescue Mode.
