Edit my domain contact info
Change the details for the underlying contact info on your domains at any time in your 123 Reg account. Eligible domains registered with 123 Reg have Domain Privacy automatically applied to hide Registrant contact info on a public WHOIS directory. This info will be substituted with details from our Domain Privacy partner, Domains By Proxy®, when Domain Privacy is set to On.
- Go to your 123 Reg Domain Portfolio. You might be prompted to sign in.
- Select an individual domain to access the Domain Settings page.
- Select Edit next to Contact Info.
- Enter your new contact details.
- Note: Effective August 21, 2025, only Registrant contact details are required and publicly displayed for most domains, depending on registry and ICANN requirements. Other contact information may be collected but won't be shown in WHOIS records.
- Select Continue to save your edits.
- Domains with Domain Protection require additional identity verification. If you've had 2-step verification (2SV) turned on for at least 24 hours, enter the code we sent via SMS, or enter the code from your authenticator app. Otherwise, enter the one-time password we sent to the email address on your 123 Reg account.
You'll see a Success confirmation that your domains have been updated. The new contact info may take up to 90 minutes to show in your account and the public WHOIS directory.
Related step
- Don't forget to approve any changes made to the first name, last name, organization or email address if Domain Privacy is set to Limited or Off.
