Set up payment for online appointments
After you've added an online appointments section to your website and added services (events and appointments), you need a way to accept payments. You can accept full or partial online payments through Square or PayPal.
Note: Coupon codes are not currently accepted for appointment bookings.
- Go to your 123 Reg product page.
- Scroll down, expand Website Builder and select Manage next to your site.
- On your dashboard, select Settings.
- Under Appointments, select Payments.
- Next to the payment method you want to add for credit/debit cards, select Connect. If you also want to accept PayPal payments, under Pay with PayPal, switch the toggle on. You can connect PayPal even if you don't currently have a PayPal account. You'll receive an email after your first PayPal transaction. Follow the instructions in the email to create your account.
- Select Website and then Edit Website to open your website builder and publish your site.
Note: You won't be able to accept online payment for appointments until you publish your website with the changes. Offline payment is available by default for appointments booked online, if you want to send someone an invoice or have them pay you in person.
