What is a Direct Debit?
This article explains what the Direct Debit payment method is and how you can use for it with your 123-reg account.
Direct Debit is a simple, safe and convenient way to make regular or occasional payments from your bank account and can now be used to pay for renewals on your 123-reg account.
When you complete a new order you will be invited to sign up for Direct Debit by completing and submitting our online form.
Setting up a Direct Debit payment for your 123-reg products and services means you can have additional peace of mind that products will renew without expiring. No more issues with out of date card details the money can simply be taken from your bank account.
By signing up to Direct Debit you can also be assured that you will be protected by The Direct Debit Guarantee.
This Guarantee is offered by all banks and building societies that accept instructions to pay Direct Debits. If you request us to collect a payment, confirmation of the amount and date will be given to you at the time of the request. If an error is made in the payment of your Direct Debit you are entitled to a full and immediate refund of the amount paid from your bank or building society. You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by simply contacting your bank or building society in writing, you should also notify us in writing.
How do I use a Direct Debit for my 123-reg Products and Services?
Direct Debit is available following renewals of all products and services. When you complete a new order you will be invited to sign up for Direct Debit by completing and submitting our online form to set-up future renewals of those products via Direct Debit.
Complete the form ensuring all the information you provide is accurate and correct and submit it to get the process underway. Your bank will then process your application and notify you when it is formally set-up. After that, your Direct Debut will be used to settle all future 123-reg renewals of those products.
Remember, setting up a Direct Debit payment for your 123-reg products and services means you can have additional peace of mind that products will renew without expiring. No more issues with out of date card details the money can simply be taken from your bank account.
You can setup Direct debit in the Payment Priority section of the 123-reg control panel and this will be used to renew all services on your account:
Click on the Payment Priority icon under the Account management section.
Click on the Add Direct Debit button under the manage column.
Fill out details required to set up the direct debit.
Click on the Submit icon to store the changes.
Please Note: your Direct Debit may take up to 10 days to process with your bank
