This article will explain how you can install and configure the Open-Xchange connector.
The Open-Xchange connector allows you to utilise the Open-Xchange server functionality, and all of Open-Xchange's features through your Microsoft Outlook client. This means that you can manage your emails, calendar, contacts and tasks through Outlook and your changes will be made on the server, allowing you and your colleagues to work quickly and efficiently in the manner in which you find the most comfortable.
Please note: Before you install the Open-Xchange connector, you will need to close Microsoft Outlook.
You can login to 123-reg Webmail by going to https://webmail.123-reg.co.uk/
Type in your Email address and password.
Click on the Login button.
Once logged in select the Settings tab and click on Updater.
When the client file has downloaded, tick the box to accept the License Agreement and click on the Install button to continue.
Next a box will appear. Enter your mailbox Username and Password, click OK to continue.
A small notification will appear in the bottom left hand corner showing you an update is available, click on this notification to continue.
Follow the onscreen prompts to install the plugin.
Please note: You may see an option for OX Drive. If so, please leave this unticked.
The installer will again require you to enter your mailbox Username and Password, click the Install button to continue.
At this stage you can also set a custom profile name if you do not want to use the default setting.
Once installed run Microsoft Outlook. You will be asked to select a profile, If you didn't change it in the installation process it will be OXtender 2. Press the OK button to continue.
