This article relates to 123-mail

Setting up your 123-mail account on iPhone can be easily done by following the examples provided below.

You can use these settings to add any email address from 123-reg on your iPhone.

To configure your account on iPhone, please do the following:

1

Go to Settings on your iPhone.

2

Go to Mail, Contacts, Calendars.

3

Select Add Account.

4

Choose Other from the options of the iPhone's menu.

5

Choose Add Mail Account.

6

Type your Name e.g John Smith.

7

Type your Email Address in the Address box i.e john@mydomain.com.

8

Type the Password for this email address.

9

Type a Description of your choice like john@mydomain.com.

10

Next you must decide whether you would like to use the POP3 or IMAP email protocol.

POP3 is the standard protocol for receiving email from a mail server and it allows you to download all of your emails to one location.

IMAP is best if you access your email from multiple locations, clients and devices as it doesn't require downloading of your email content. We recommend using IMAP settings on Windows Live because if anything were to happen to your computer or mobile device, you would still be able to access your emails.

To find out more about the POP3 and IMAP protocols, watch the following support video.
