How do I add my SSL Security Seal to my website?

This article will explain how you can find and generate your free SSL Security Seal.

When you purchase any of our SSL certificates, you’ll receive a free SSL Security Seal that you can display on your website. This instantly recognisable badge allows you to immediately reassure visitors that your site is fully verified and protected by an SSL certificate.

To generate this Security Seal, simply follow the instructions outlined below:

For SSL certificates bought after December 2021

Start by logging in to your 123 Reg Control Panel.

From there, select SSL Certificates within the ‘Manage active products’ section and then select Manage opposite Manage SSL Certificates.

This will take you to the SSL overview page, where you will see all your purchased SSL certificates. Simply click Manage opposite the certificate you wish to download.

You will now be taken to your SSL Certificate dashboard, which features a different interface and URL to our main site.

From here, scroll down to the SSL Security Seal section, where you’ll be shown a preview of your Security Seal. You can also change its appearance by changing the colour and language values in the provided fields.

Once you’re happy with the design of your security seal, click Activate to generate its code.

From there, simply copy this code and add it to your webpage’s HTML source code to insert your Seal Seal into your website.

From there, click Download Site Seal for your SSL certificate.

You will now be taken to a new page where you’ll see the code for your Site Seal. Simply copy this code and add it to your webpage’s HTML source code to insert your Seal Seal into your website.
