Title: How can I find my FTP username and password?
In this video, we’ll show you where your FTP details are located in your Web Hosting control panel.
First, you’ll need to make sure you’re logged into your 123-reg control panel.
Simply scroll down to the Web Hosting section.
You can now select your hosting package using the drop-down menu and then click on the Manage button.
In this box here, you’ll see your FTP username and if you click here, you will see your password.
That’s it; you’ve located your FTP details.
You’ll need these when uploading any website files using an FTP client.

Select your domain name using the drop-down menu and then click on the Manage button.
In this box you will see your FTP username and password.

Please note: When uploading to your hosting package via FTP, you root folder will be /domainname/public_html replacing domainname with your website's domain name.
First login to your 123-reg control panel and scroll down to the Web hosting section. Click on the manage button for Web Hosting.
Now scroll down to the list of websites you have set up on your hosting package, and click the Manage button for the site you wish to find the FTP details for.
Once you have logged into your Xtend control panel, you will see your FTP details on the right hand side of the page in a section titled FTP Details.
Here you will set your FTP password, simply click on the Click here to set link.
You can now enter your new FTP password into the box provided and then click the Change Password button.
Minimum password length is 8 characters and must include a special character and as least two of: upper case letters, lower case letters and numbers.
