These instructions will show you how to configure your domain name so that it displays the website you have on your 123-reg Hosting package
Pointing your domain name at your hosting package is required before you will be able to access the website you have hosted through your domain name. This is a key step in getting yourself on line.
Login to your 123-reg control panel.
Scroll down to the Domain names section and click the Manage button on the domain you wish to point.
Click on the Manage DNS link under the Advanced domain settings section.
Click on the Web hosting (New) option from the drop down list and click on the Point to Service button.
You will be asked to confirm your changes before they take effect.
Click on the Web hosting option from the drop down list.
Now select the hosting package you wish to point your domain to.
Finally click on the Point to service button.
Please note: These changes can take between 24 and 48 hours to propagate across the internet.
