How to set up email with Outlook.com

This FAQ will help you to set up your mailbox with Outlook.com.

The below video and step by step instructions will help you learn how to add a mailbox to your Outlook.com account.




Please note: You can use the below steps to set up any mailbox. You will however need to use your providers details when we mention ours.

Login to your Outlook.com email account. Click on the Settings icon and then on the Options link.

Click on the Your email accounts option.

Now click on the Add a send-and-receive account button.

Enter your name, the email address you wish to add and the email address password. Once entered click on the Advanced options link.

Enter pop.123-reg.co.uk as the server address and set the port to 995.

Check both the options and then enter the email address you are adding as the username and the email address password.

Select the option Send email using your provider's server.

Enter smtp.123-reg.co.uk and set the port to 465.

Check both the options and then click on the Next button.

You can now decide whether your email is integrated into your inbox or in a separate folder.

Once you have made a choice click no the Save button.

Your email address has now been added. Click on the Go to your Inbox button.

That's it, your now ready to start sending and receiving email straight away.

Please note: You will need to change the sending address to send from your added email address.
