How do I approve a domain transfer away from 123 Reg?
This article will show you how to approve domain transfers out of your 123 Reg account.
Although we will automatically approve domain transfers within 5 days of the process starting, you can speed up this process by approving the domain transfer yourself. To do this, simply follow the instructions outlined below.
Please note: this article was originally created for our current Control Panel. As such, the steps outlined below may not be relevant for domain names purchased before September 2023 as we will be migrating them to our current Control Panel between August and December 2023.
Start by logging in to your 123 Reg Control Panel.
From there, select Manage All opposite Domains within the ‘All Products and Services’ section.
On the next page, select Transfers in the left-hand menu.
This will take you to the Domain Transfers page. From here, select Transfers Out.
Click the tick box next to the domain(s) you want to approve and then select Approve Transfer.
After a few moments, you’ll be shown a confirmation message.
