How do I fix problems with my web forwarding?

This FAQ will help you to change a redirect that you have set up from your domain name.

Changing your redirect will allow you to change the destination of your forwarder, meaning that you can change the website that your domain name directs to.

This answer will give you several tests to try before contacting 123 Reg support with web forwarding problems.

Firstly, make sure the website you are forwarding to is working

If you have just initiated the web forwarding, please allow a couple of hours for the update to take place.

Check your domain is pointed to the 123 Reg nameservers. You can also do this by looking up the name on

Check that the URL is correctly entered in your web forwarding configuration settings in your 123 Reg control panel ( control panel).

If the forwarding has stopped suddenly, make sure that your domain name has not expired in the 123 Reg control panel ( control panel).
