How do I Lock/Unlock my Domain Name?
This FAQ will explain how to Lock/Unlock your 123 Reg domain name.
Locking and unlocking your domain is used to allow access to make changes to your domain, or during domain transfers. This answer will This answer only applies to .com, .net, .org, .info, .name, .biz and .la domain names.
To lock/unlock a top level domain name, you will need to do the following:
Login to your 123 Reg control panel.
In the Domain names section, select the relevant domain name from the drop down box and click on the Managebutton.
Click on the Manage Domain Locking option to lock/unlock the domain name.
This will take you to the Domain Locking page – click on unlock domain to unlock your domain. If your domain is already unlocked, the option will read Lock Domain.
