How do I set up my DNS for Web forwarding?

To allow your domain name to create a web forward, you need to ensure that your DNS is configured correctly by following the below step by step instructions.

This article will explain how you can set up your DNS for Web forwarding.

Firstly, you need to ensure your domain is pointed to the 123 Reg nameservers.

If the domain is not pointed to the 123 Reg nameservers, you will be unable to manage them from the 123 Reg control panel.

Please note: It will take between 24-48 hours for any new nameserver (DNS) records to become active.

Log in to your 123 Reg control panel

Have a look in the Domains section section.

Select your domain name using the drop-down menu and then click on the Manage button.

Click on the Manage DNS (A, MX, CNAME, TXT) link.

On the Advanced DNS tab, click the edit button and change the IP next to the type A record to 94.136.40.82

Click on the Save button.

Repeat Steps 4 and 5 for the www type A record.
