How do I add a sign up Email Marketing form to my website?

This article will show you how to embed your Subscriber Capture form into your 123 Reg website using the Website Builder, Online Shop and InstantSite packages.


This means that your form will be available for all of your website's visitors to sign up for your campaigns.  .

First you need to get the code for your form, to add it to your site:

    From the Collect drop down at the top of the page, click on the Forms option.

    Click on the form you wish to use, and click on the Promote option.

    Copy the code, and add it to your website by following the instructions below.

Website Builder

Website Builder uses an Embed tool to allow you to insert your form directly into your website. Simply copy the code as highlighted above, and then follow the steps in this article to insert it into your Website Builder site.

Online Shop

To add the form to your InstantSite package follow the steps above, and then open your Online Shop package.

    From the Design View, click on the Insert Page Element button to open the Page Element Module.

    From the Module, select User-defined page elements. This will allow you to either select the Text (HTML) option, or the Text with Heading option. Both will perform the same function, but the latter will allow you to give the section a header.

    Click the Insert button to add your chosen element to the page.

    You can now edit your page element. Click on the HTML tab to edit the element's HTML code. This will be empty, so paste in the code for your form in this area. Depending on the area of the site you are inserting you may wish to alter the dimensions of your form. For example, I've changed the width of the form to 200px, to fit down the sidebar of my site.

    Don't forget to give it a header if you wish, and then click the Apply button.

    Your form will now be visible on your live site, ready for customer's to complete and sign up to your campaigns.

InstantSite

  • Step 1 of 3

    From the Design View, click on the Insert Page Element button to open the Page Element Module.

    Click on the Properties button to open the script editor. Paste the code for your form into this box and click the OK button.

    Click on the Save button to confirm your changes. You will not be able to see your form on your site in the Editor or Preview modes, but once your site has been published, it will be visible and live.
