Adding Microsoft 365 to an email client that only supports IMAP, POP3 and SMTP protocols
This FAQ will help you to sync your Microsoft 365 email account with an email client that doesn't support Microsoft Exchange protocols.
Some email clients, such as Thunderbird and Gmail, do not use the Microsoft Exchange email protocol. However, you can still use your Microsoft 365 email account this these clients.
When syncing your Microsoft 365 email account with a client such as Outlook, you will be able to use the Microsoft Exchange protocol, however there are some clients, such as Thunderbird and Gmail that don’t support the Exchange protocol. Instead, you will need to sync your Microsoft 365 email account by using either the IMAP or POP protocols.

You can add your details as you usually would, your Username for both incoming and outgoing servers should be your complete email address: e.g. yourname@yourdomain.com
