Duplicate folders using IMAP in Outlook

If you are finding duplicate folders in your Outlook email client when using the IMAP settings with your 123 Reg mail box there are a few things you can do which will rectify this issue.

Right click on the mailbox in the folder pane of your Outlook application and select Account Properties.

Click on the Account Settings button, then select Account Settings option.

Select the mailbox you wish to perform this action on and click on Change.

Click on the More Settings button.
Root folder path
Create any folders you wish to organise your mail in as subfolders of the inbox on the IMAP server, then within your Outlook email client map the root folder path to INBOX/ in the more settings area of your Outlook account settings.
To ensure identical behavior of the emails you send on the 123 Reg IMAP server and in your Outlook email client, select the Save sent items in the following folder on the server option and select the Sent folder underneath your IMAP account folder directory in the more settings area of your Outlook account settings.
To ensure identical behavior of the emails you delete on the 123 Reg IMAP server and in your Outlook email client, select theMove deleted items to the following folder on the server option and select the Deleted Items folder underneath your IMAP account folder directory in the tab.
