These FAQs will teach you how to manage your contacts in 123-webmail

How do I create a new contact?

Creating contacts is a great way to store the contact information of the people you regularly email, so you do not have to remember dozens of email addresses.

Start by logging in to your Webmail. From there, select the Menu icon in the top-right corner and choose the Address Book option.

On the Address Book page, select Contacts. From there, select New from the toolbar and click Add contact from the drop-down menu.

When creating a new contact, fill in all the necessary fields for personal information such as Name, Date of Birth, Email Address, Contact Number, Email Address, etc.

How do I edit an existing contact?

How do I delete a contact?

How do I create a new distribution list?

On the Address Book page, click the New button and then select Add Distribution List from the drop-down menu.

Name your distribution list, then begin adding your contacts. Do this by typing the contact name into the box, and then selecting from the options as they appear.

How do I move a contact?

This section will explain how to move a contact in 123-mail webmail.

You must have already pre-created additional contact folders created to move contacts into. This functionality allows you to move contacts into specific folders, allowing you to keep your contacts organised, allowing you to find the ones you need, when you need to. For example, you can split your contacts into work groups and personal groups, or you could have a folder for your frequently used contacts.

To move a contact into a folder, simply drag and drop the contact into your desired location.

How do I copy contacts to a contact folder?

Copying your contacts to a new folder is similar to moving your contacts to a new folder, but the key difference is that it duplicates the contact, meaning that the original contact stays in the original folder, and the duplicate moves to the new, specified folder. This is useful for if you have your contacts split between work and personal, for example, but also want to create a frequently used folder. This will enable you to keep your work and personal split, and combine the contacts you frequently use.

On the Address Book page, select the contact you wish to copy. From there, click the options button and choose Copy from the drop-down menu.

You will now be able to select from your available folders, so select the folder you wish to use, and then click Copy.

How do I change the view on the contacts page?

You can customise your contacts page to suit your needs, allowing you to pick the option that works best for you.

From the Address Book page click on the View tab on the right hand side of the page. This will open a dropdown menu. From this menu, you can enable the folder view (highlighted in Red) and the Checkbox view (highlighted in Blue).

How do I sync my 123-mail contacts with my iPhone?

Go to your mail accounts set up page and choose Other.

Step 2 of 3

Under the contact section, select Add CardDAV account.

Step 3 of 3

Now you must fill in your information. For the server details enter: dav.123-reg.co.uk. Your username and password will be the same as your 123-mail username and password. You can enter whatever description you want.

Click next to complete the operation.
