How can I change my billing period on my Hosting package?

This article applies to our Web Hosting and Premium Hosting packages.

This article will show you how to change the billing period associated with your Hosting package, which allows you to switch from paying monthly, to yearly, and vice versa.

Please note: When you change your billing period, these changes to do not come into effect until your next renewal date.

Web Hosting plans purchased after July 2020 / Premium Hosting plans purchased after August 2020 (cPanel)

Start by logging in to your 123 Reg Control Panel.

From there, select Web Hosting or Premium Hosting within the ‘All Products and Services’ section and then click Manage opposite your hosting plan.

If you can’t find your hosting package in this list, you may be able to find it in the ‘Manage Active Products’ section within our legacy Control Panel. For more details on this, please read the following article: How do I access and manage my products?

If you’re using our current Control Panel, select Renewals & Billing within the Hosting Plan Actions section.

If you’re using our legacy Control Panel, select Options for the package you wish to edit and then choose Billing from the list of options.

If you’re using our current Control Panel, you will now be shown all your purchased hosting packages. Click the tickbox for the plan you want to renew and click Add to Cart.

If you’re using our legacy Control Panel, you’ll be taken to the Summary page of your hosting plan. From here, select Edit opposite ‘Billing period’.

If you’re using our current Control Panel, continue to the checkout page and follow the on-screen instructions to complete your renewal.

If you’re using our legacy Control Panel, you’ll need to choose your preferred billing period from the menu that appears. Once done, click Confirm to save your changes.

Web Hosting plans purchased before July 2020 / Premium Hosting plans purchased before August 2020

From there, select Web Hosting or Premium Hosting within the ‘Manage active products’ section, depending on which product you wish to update.

Next, select Manage opposite the ‘(bought before XX/XX/XX)’ option.

This will show you an overview of your purchased hosting packages. Click Manage for the account you wish to access.

This gives you an over view of your hosting package. Scroll down to the Renewals and Billing section and click on the Change button in the Billing Period field.

Simply select the Billing period you require from the drop down menu, and click the Confirm button to save your changes.
