How can I change my billing period on my Hosting package?

This article applies to the 123 Reg Shared Hosting and Premium Hosting packages.

This article will show you how to change the Billing period associated with your Hosting package. This allows you to switch from paying monthly, to paying yearly, and vice versa.

Please note: When you change your Billing period, these changes to do not come into effect until your next renewal date.

The following steps apply to Web Hosting plans purchased after July 2020 and Premium Hosting plans purchased after August 2020 (cPanel):

Start by logging in to your 123 Reg Control Panel.

From there, select Web Hosting or Premium Hosting within the ‘Manage active products’ section, depending on which one you wish to update. Next, select Manage opposite Manage Web/Premium Hosting.

On the next page, click the Options drop-down menu for the package you wish to edit and select Billing

From the Summary table, select the option Edit opposite ‘Billing period’.

A drop-down menu will now appear, where you can change your Hosting plan’s billing period. Once done, click Confirm to save your changes.

The following steps apply to Web Hosting plans purchased before July 2020 and Premium Hosting plans purchased before August 2020:

From there, select Web Hosting or Premium Hosting within the ‘Manage active products’ section, depending on which product you wish to update.

Next, select Manage opposite the ‘(bought before XX/XX/XX)’ option.

This will show you an overview of your purchased hosting packages. Click Manage for the account you wish to access.

This gives you an over view of your hosting package. Scroll down to the Renewals and Billing section and click on the Change button in the Billing Period field.

Simply select the Billing period you require from the drop down menu, and click the Confirm button to save your changes.
