How do I make a copy of a file?

This article will explain how to make a copy of a file from within your File Manager.

Start by accessing your Web Hosting dashboard.

Select File Manager in the account dashboard.

Select the file or folder you wish to duplicate and select Copy.

Enter the file path you want to copy your file to and select Copy Files.

Start by logging in to your legacy Control Panel. For details on how to do this, please read the following article: How do I access and manage my products?

From there, select Web Hosting or Premium Hosting within the ‘Manage active products’ section, depending on which product you wish to use.

Next, select Manage opposite the ‘(bought before XX/XX/XX)’ option.

This will show you an overview of your current hosting packages. Click Manage for the account you wish to use.

On the next page, select Manage for the domain you wish to access.

Scroll down to the Files section and click the File Manager button.


Step 6 of 6

From the File Manager, navigate to the folder within which you wish to create your file, and click on the Duplicatebutton to create the file.

Your files will now be replicated.
