How do I upload my staging site’s changes to my live website?

This article will detail how you can implement changes on your staging site to your live site.

Once you’re happy with the changes you’ve made on your staging site, you can copy them over to your live website, rather than replicate the entire process yourself.

Please note: this service is only available with Managed WordPress packages purchased after May 2021.

Start by logging in to your 123 Reg Control Panel. Under the Manage Active Products section, select your Managed WordPress package from the drop-down menu and click Manage.

On the next page, select Manage opposite the product name.

This will take you to an overview page of all your purchased Managed WordPress packages. Select the button for your plan and select Settings from the drop-down menu that appears.

From here, select Actions opposite Staging Site and choose Sync Sites from the drop-down menu that appears.

A pop-up window will now appear. Select the option Push staging to production, along with Overwrite content if you wish to copy your staging site as is.

Once you’ve done this, click Sync to complete the process.
