There are several passwords that you’ll need to bear in mind with your hosting package. Here are a few ways you can differentiate between them:

  • Your 123 Reg account and cPanel passwords are different
    We will automatically generate your cPanel login details after you’ve set up your hosting plan. You also won’t be able to change your cPanel username.

 

  • Your cPanel and FTP login details are the exact same
    If you need to move files into your hosting account via FTP but aren’t sure what your details are, you can use your cPanel login details.We also recommend that you change the password for cPanel before you start using your account.   • Your WordPress login details should be unique to WordPress
    For maximum security, we recommend that you make your WordPress username and password different from your other passwords.
