What are the full paths to my 123 Reg Hosting package?

Please see below to find the full paths for either your Linux or Windows hosting package

 

The following steps apply to Web Hosting plans purchased after July 2020 and Premium Hosting plans purchased after August 2020:

The full path to your 123 Reg Hosting package is as follows:

/home/username/public_html/

Please note that the username will be your hosting account’s username.

The following steps apply to Web Hosting plans purchased before July 2020 and Premium Hosting plans purchased before August 2020:

If you have a Linux hosting purchased after 30.03.2015, to obtain the full path, please do the following:

Step 1 of 4

Open up a text editor such as Notepad.

Step 2 of 4

Copy the following into it:

echo "<p>Full path to this dir: " . $dir . "</p>";
?>
Step 3 of 4

Save the file as test.php

Step 4 of 4

Upload the file to any directory on your webspace and then view the uploaded file in a web browser.

If purchased before April 2015

If you have a Linux hosting package bought before 30.03.2015 / WordPress Hosting:

/websites/123reg/LinuxPackage21/my/do/ma/mydomain.co.uk/

Please note: The section my/do/ma needs to be: the first and second characters of your domain name/the third and fourth characters of your domain name/the fifth and sixth characters of your domain name.

Windows Hosting

If you have a Windows hosting package, in order to obtain your full path, you will need to do the following:

Step 1 of 4

Open up a text editor such as Notepad.

 

Step 2 of 4

Copy the following into it:

Step 3 of 4

Save the file as test.asp.

 

Step 4 of 4

Upload the file to any directory on your webspace and then view the uploaded file in a web browser.
