How do I cancel Domain Privacy?
This article will show you how to cancel your Domain Privacy service.
To set your WHOIS privacy to expire at the renewal date, please follow the steps below:
Start by logging in to your 123 Reg Control Panel.
From here, select Manage All opposite Domains within the ‘All Products and Services’ section.
You will now see a complete list of your purchased domain names. Select which one(s) you wish to update from the provided list by clicking the checkbox next to them.
If you can’t find your domain in this list, you may be able to find it on the Domain Name Overview page within our legacy Control Panel. For more details on this, please read the following article: How do I access and manage my products?
If you’re using our current Control Panel, select Privacy in the bar that appears below. If you can’t see this option, click More instead and you will find it within the menu that appears.
If you’re using our legacy Control Panel, click Manage under WHOIS privacy within the Domain Basics section.
If you’re using our current Control Panel, select Turn Privacy Off.
If you’re using our legacy Control Panel, click No under Privacy Status and Auto-renew.
If you’re using our current Control Panel, you will be asked to confirm your choice. Click Continue to accept this change.
Please note: if you need WHOIS privacy to be cancelled with immediate effect, please raise a ticket with our Support team.
