What are the report recommendations?
This FAQ will help you to understand your report recommendations
This article will focus on report recommendations; what they are, how you use them, and how they will help you optimise your site
What are report recommendations, and where do I find them? Search Engine Optimisers' report recommendations are a collection of tips and tricks that will help you to increase your site's ranking performance.
You can find recommendations in each of the sections that comprise the marketing report, below your performance section, entitled Your priorities for today.
To open a recommendation, simply scroll down to the Your priorities for today section, and click on the suggestion you want to open.
Each recommendation will be presented to you in the same manner. Firstly, you will see a title and brief explanation or background to the task, instead of just throwing you in at the deep end.
If you've already completed this task then simply click the Mark as resolved button at the bottom of the window.
The next section simply gives you all the information you need to complete the task at hand. These can be quite varied in complexity, from restructuring and optimising your website's code, to setting up a social media account.
The final section will explain why this task is so important to your website, outlining what you will achieve by completing the task. It will also allow you to mark the task as resolved when you have completed it, or to dismiss it from your list.
When you dismiss a task, you can set to be reminded about the task later, if you wish to come back to it, or to remove it from your task list entirely, if you don't plan on ever doing the task.
