Adding users in Plesk guide

This article will explain how you can add the two different user types to your server using Plesk.

Please note: this article was originally created for our previous generation of Virtual Private Servers. As such, these instructions may not be relevant to our current generation of Virtual Private Servers.

Customers

If you are providing hosting direct to an end user you would set up their account as a Customer on your server.

Step 1 of 4

Log in to your Parallels Plesk Panel.

Step 2 of 4

Click on the Customers link on the left panel.

Step 3 of 4

Click on the Add New Customer button.

Step 4 of 4

Fill in the customer’s details and click on the OK button.

Your new Customer account will now be set up.

Resellers

If you have customers who resell hosting services from your server you can set them up as Resellers within your server.

Log in to your Parallels Plesk Panel.

Click on the Reseller link on the left panel.

Step 3 of 4

Click on the Add New Reseller button.

Step 4 of 4

Fill in the reseller details and click on the OK button.

Your new reseller account will now be set up.
