Create an account in WebHost Manager (WHM)
If you want to host a website on your cPanel VPS, you will need to set up an account on WebHost Manager (WHM). Simply follow the instructions below to get started.
Please note: the following article was originally created for our current generation of Virtual Private Servers. As such, these instructions may not be relevant to our previous generation of Virtual Private Servers.
Start by logging in to WHM with the following details:
- Username: root
- Password: https://youripaddress:2087
Important: make sure you change youripaddress to your server’s IP address.
From there, select Account Functions within the left-hand menu, followed by Create a New Account.
On the next page, you’ll need to enter details for your new account, including your preferred username and password as well as your domain name and email address.
Once you’ve done this, click Create to complete the process.
