How do I change the name of my VPS?
This article will show you how to change your Virtual Private Server’s name.
Please note: the following article was originally created for our current generation of Virtual Private Servers. As such, these instructions may not be relevant to our previous generation of Virtual Private Servers.

Start by logging in to your 123 Reg Control Panel.
Step 2 of 7
Next, select Servers within the ‘All Products and Services’ section.
Step 3 of 7
Find the VPS you wish to change and click Manage opposite it.
Step 4 of 7
You will now be taken to your dashboard. From here, click Settings.
Step 5 of 7
On the next page, select Change opposite Server name.

Change your server’s name by entering a new one into the provided field. This can include letters, numbers, spaces and hyphens.

Once you’ve done this, click Save to confirm your change.
