How do I enable notifications for resource and service events for my VPS?

This article will show you how to enable event notifications within your Virtual Private Server.

You will receive an email notification from us should your server experience any of the following:

  • Outage of 5+ minutes
  • 95% CPU/RAM usage for 10+ minutes
  • 80% Disk Usage for 10+ minutes

To check whether you have enabled these notifications, simply follow the steps below.

Please note: the following article was originally created for our current generation of Virtual Private Servers. As such, these instructions may not be relevant to our previous generation of Virtual Private Servers.

Start by logging in to your 123 Reg Control Panel.

Next, select Servers within the ‘All Products and Services’ section.

Find the VPS you wish to use and click Manage opposite it.

You will now be taken to your dashboard. From here, select the Monitoring tab.

From here, you can enable and disable your notifications by selecting the toggle within the Manage Email Alerts
