This article will show you how to find areas of disk usage within WHM.

If your server is running slowly, you can follow the steps below to identify any areas that are using a lot of its resources.

Please note: the following article was originally created for our current generation of Virtual Private Servers. As such, these instructions may not be relevant to our previous generation of Virtual Private Servers.

Step 1 of 7

Start by logging in to WHM.

Step 2 of 7

Select Server Status within the left-hand menu, followed by Server Information.

Step 3 of 7

On the next page, you can see your current disk usage in the provided table.

Step 4 of 7

If you want to see disk usage per domain, click List Accounts within the Account Information section.

Step 5 of 7

You will now be redirected to cPanel. From, click Disk Usage within Files.

Step 6 of 7

On the next page, use the provided options to sort your files by disk usage. You can also open any directories in File Manager by clicking on them.

Step 7 of 7

You can then remove any large files by removing them within File Manager.

Please note: deletion of files is irreversible and can cause server issues.
