How to add a domain to HTTP and SSL monitoring on your VPS

This article will show you how to add a monitored domain to your Virtual Private Server.

Want to check the status of your websites and SSL Certificates from one handy place? Why not add a monitored domain to your Virtual Server, which will even send you email notifications should their associated website/SSL experience any downtime. Simply follow the instructions below to get started.

Please note: the following article was originally created for our current generation of Virtual Private Servers. As such, these instructions may not be relevant to our previous generation of Virtual Private Servers.

Start by logging in to your 123 Reg Control Panel.

Next, select Servers within the ‘All Products and Services’ section.

Find the VPS you wish to use and click Manage opposite it.

You will now be taken to your dashboard. From here, select the Monitoring tab.

From here, select Add a Domain within the Monitored Domains section.

Enter the domain you wish to use into the provided field and click Submit Domain.

Within a few minutes, a pop-up window will appear, informing you that the domain was successfully added. You will also see the status of your domain within the Monitored Domains section.
