Logging in to my VPS

This article will show you how to access your Virtual Private Server.

There are two main ways you can log in to your VPS: via WebHost Manager or via SSH. Simply click the relevant title from the list below and follow the provided instructions to find out more:

Please note: the following article was originally created for our current generation of Virtual Private Servers. As such, these instructions may not be relevant to our previous generation of Virtual Private Servers.

Via WebHost Manager

Via an encrypted connection

  • https://[server IP address]:2087
  • https://[domain name]:2087

 

Via an unencrypted connection

  • http://[server IP address]:2086
  • http://[domain name]:2086

Via SSH

Please note: you’ll need to have the IP address, along with the username and password for your VPS. If you’re not sure where to find this, please read the following articles:

Start by opening your SSH client.

From there, enter your domain name or IP address into the host field and your port number into the SSH field.

After a moment, you’ll need to enter your SSH username and password into the provided fields.
