How do I cancel my pending SSL certificate request?

This article will explain how you can cancel your SSL certificate request.

If you accidentally submitted your SSL certificate request for the wrong domain and it hasn’t been issued yet, you can cancel the pending request by following the instructions outlined below.

Please note: this article only applies to SSL certificates purchased after December 2021.

Start by logging in to your 123 Reg Control Panel.

From there, select SSL Certificates within the ‘Manage active products’ section and then select Manage opposite Manage SSL Certificates.

This will take you to the SSL overview page, where you will see all your purchased SSL certificates. Simply click Manage opposite the certificate you wish to cancel.

You will now be taken to your SSL dashboard, which features a different interface and URL to our main site.

Here, you’ll see your pending certificate request, along with all its associated details. Under Certificate Details, simply click Cancel opposite the Status tab (alongside ‘Pending Verification’).

Once the request has been cancelled, you can then request a new certificate.
