How do I renew my SSL Certificate?

This article will show you how to renew your SSL Certificate.

It’s important to keep renewing your SSL Certificate for your website. Without one, search engines like Google will warn visitors that your website isn’t secure.

If your SSL Certificate has been assigned to a website that’s hosted on our cPanel Web Hosting package and you’ve set your SSL Certificate to ‘auto-renew’, then you won’t need to perform any further actions.

For all other instances, simply follow the instructions outlined below:

Please note: if you purchased our Website Builder, Online Shop or Web Hosting Ultimate package, then you won’t need to manually renew your SSL Certificate.

Step 1 of 4

Start by logging in to your 123 Reg Control Panel.

Step 2 of 4

From there, select SSL Certificates within the ‘Manage active products’ section and then select Manage opposite Manage SSL Certificates.

Step 3 of 4

This will take you to the overview page, where you will see all your purchased SSL Certificates. Simply click Renew Now for your SSL Certificate.

Step 4 of 4

From there, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the checkout.

If your website is hosted with a third-party provider, then you’ll need to install your renewed SSL Certificate.
